I wanted to share my story for anyone who has suffered from this terrible annoyance they call tinnitus. I used to be in a rock band which created killer music if I due say so myself. I was the drummer in the band and I always used ear plugs to lessen the sounds of the band. One day we were playing a show in front of about 125 people. I lost my ear plugs and we were about to go on stage. I couldn’t leave to buy some more so I decided to play without them. Big mistake. We had loud speakers and amplifiers so that the crowd could really hear our music. I didn’t wear my ear plugs and after the show I had loud ringing in both of my ears. Well I hated the sound of surgery but I had to do something. So he gave me some drugs and I started to take them but it didn’t work at all! I still had ringing in my ears and it wouldn’t stop. At this point it had been about 2 years from the start of the ringing problem, I was forced to quit the band and I was desperate for it to stop.
